Beth's Tenth Anniversary - 30th September 2023 10.39am
With Covid finally gone we once again welcomed Beths friends and family to celebrate her with us on this special day.
10 years on from the most horrible time we were humbled by how many people wanted to join us and for those who could not make it but asked for balloons to send up into the sky to remember our girl.
It always brings great comfort to read the warmth and support that pours out from all Beth’s friends who have not forgotten her. This year once again we read so many lovely and heart felt tributes to Beth.
We did have a lovely day meeting up with family, university fiends and school friends and their parents who have all kept Beth in their hearts. It meant so much to us all and it helped us celebrate Beth in Beth Style.
There is so much work still going on regarding Organ Donation and the most important thing is for people to discuss their wishes with their family so should anything happen, your family will have the resolve to agree to organ donation if that is your wish.
An organ donor card is a great way to show you’re committed to saving lives.
You don’t need to have your organ donor card on you at all times, but you may choose to carry your card with you as a symbol of your decision to help others.
If you are able to become an organ donor in the future, the decision you have recorded on the NHS Organ Donor Register will be checked.
Organ donation will only go ahead with the support of your family. By being on the NHS Organ Donor Register you are helping your loved ones to know what you want.
Act now to save lives in future.
Please do keep talking and discussing organ donation.
