Second Year Anniversary - 30th September 2015 10.39am

Once again in memory of Beth we decided to release yellow balloons and asked friends and family to sit down and have that discussion about Organ Donation.

Everyone needs to discuss Organ Donation.

Balloons were released at 10.39 on Wednesday 30th September and many friends and family joined us at home, across the country and the world.

Thank you all for remembering Beth and in promoting the simple but important message that if you wish to donate your organs then make sure your loved ones are aware of your wishes.

We were also very touched by the lovely birthday messages that Beth received and it reminded us that she really did impact on people’s lives and we find great comfort in the knowledge that she really was truly loved by all who knew her. We wanted to share these messages with you as they are all so special.

Whilst we as a family are still trying very hard to recover from the loss of our Bethy, we take great pride in knowing that she has helped save and improve lives. We do take comfort from this and it drives us on to ensure that we at least encourage people to have that conversation about organ donation.

We said in last year’s anniversary post that – “She will no doubt be remembered by us all in many ways especially in every sunflower, daisy and in every beautiful sunset”, and when we read the messages throughout the year that are posted by her friends and family and when we read her birthday messages, this statement is never more true.

Thank you for supporting Beth’s memory and for reminding people that the Gift of Life is so very special.
